.    The Veterinary Centre of Greenback is a full service animal hospital providing small and large animal medicine and surgery to Blount, Loudon, & Monroe counties.  As an exclusive service to our clientelle, we also offer personalized boarding and grooming.     We have an experienced, knowledgable and friendly staff.  Each and everyone of us does our best to make your pet's visit as stress-free as possible.    The Veterinary Centre of Greenback is situated on two and a half acres with lots of grass and trees, and nice walking trails for the dogs.  The easy access building consists of a spacious reception area with the capability to segregate dogs and cats;  two complete exam rooms;  a full pharmacy;  complete surgical prep and surgery rooms;  radiology and ultrasound areas;  as well as comfortable boarding and grooming facilities.  We also have "haul in" capability for horses to be examined and treated.  Dr. Riggin is also fully equipped for equine and bovine farm calls and emergencies - as well as house calls for certain small animal procedures.  Future plans call for an expansion to our treatment and boarding areas and construction of an equine hospitalization facility. Puppy Play Dates! Puppies need to exercise and play and to have contact and interaction with both people and other dogs.  We offer "Puppy Play Dates" for your little guys to help with their socialization skills as well as some basic housebreaking.  We provide toys galore and all the play time they can handle!  We group puppies by size and temperament to make for the safest yet rowdiest play times ever!  Don't forget the special parties - birthdays, Christmas and Halloween!  We have special parties for all occasions!   It's a great "release" for puppies who are alone all day  or great for when "Mom" needs a break. Puppies must be current on vaccinations (with a minimum of two boosters) and deworming.  And as a special bonus to our PuppyClub Members, you will receive a discount on each play date!  *The regular rate for Puppy Play Date is $10 per day - Club Members Special is just $8 per day!
